MACKENZIE-CHILDS Retired shape- mini glass basket with ribbons. Basket was purchased in 1990’s as per old original logo stamp on the bottom. Glass basket was designed by original owners in Aurora, NY Victoria & Richard MacKenzie-Childs. Pre-owned
Glass was designed in Aurora, but hand-painted in Ohio at an off site design studio equipped with glass ovens. The painted glass would be shipped back to Aurora’s factory where the ribbons and any other added details were applied. Glass would be stored and shipped from Aurora.
Basket was never used, just displayed so in excellent condition. Wash sticker still adhered to side. Platinum and gold glass paints applied next to more opaque colors. Brush strokes showing the hand paint evident in opaque color.

A great collectors piece of MacKenzie-Childs, not only because of it’s age, but that this pattern has been discontinued for some time.
