MacKenzie-Childs Retired Ceramic small oval dish in Pattern Brittany EARLY
Pre-owned vintage
The oval dish 6″ long x 4 1/2″ wide
Has very Old possibly first VRMC logo stamped on bottom of dish that has no dates and a circle mark for potter.
The pattern Brittany sits under a windy umbrella over seaside and sand with a country French accent. Brittany was part of the Taylor Series.
Dish is in nice vintage condition, is thicker like most of the earlier pieces were. Has a glaze crawl on rim-not a chip, also crawl on bottom of dish and a pit hole, where particle in glaze burst through glaze during firing. Nuances of Majolica clay
