These upcycled jeans were inspired by Traci Myers you-tube channel, and I just had to try my hand having never added to a pair of jeans before. These jeans are No Boundaries size 11. They are 75% cotton, 19% poly5% Rayon and 1% spandex. I’ve added a cotton print fabric inside the top of the front left pocket, a snipet of yarn and fabric scraps to tassel down from front right pocket; 2 triangular cotton fabric inserts on each leg, and with scraps of that fabric to detail the 2 back pockets. The insert fabric had no fabric content tag to it so I’m guessing cotton, but it is stiff too so it may have some linen or rayon to it? It is an upholstery type fabric. Not sure. The fabric has mini tassels on it, so cute! The jeans are not hemmed, but there is stitching about 1/2” up from the bottom, enough for them to fray, which I love, but they can be hemmed after you purchase them if you wish. There are scraps of jean fabric that have been added to the pant legs for length and pattern. Part of a jean jacket placket is sewn on the back of the left left leg as well as a blue tapestry butterfly I cut out of a thrifted throw blanket. The right leg has scraps of jean hems and jacket button for texture and interest. I made a belt that is included, out of 11 strands of various colored yarn braided. Please take note of measurements before purchase. Compare measurements to a pair of jeans you have that fit you. (These jeans were too big for the model, but I wanted to show how the flares worked etc.) Contact for any other questions. All materials have been thrifted and laundered before construction.
Measurements: 34” around top of waistband. 6” zipper from top of zipper to zipper stop;
Inseam: 30”
Hips: measured across the front only is from side seam to crotch 11 ½” then from crotch to other seam 11 1/2” so 23” across front side only
Hem: 27” around the bottom of the pant leg,
