Upcycled Pickleball Shirts:” Bree”
Welcome to my boutique of Born Again Originals! Each item is a one of kind, not to be seen ever on anyone else, for I create my designs by starting with a discarded, thrift store find, then reconstruct, embellish with appliques, or mixture of other parts of thrift clothing, trims, buttons, whatever to ensure that each creation is different and never the same. Just as you are…a one of kind, so you have found the right place….come and spend a little time perusing through these designs. The work you will find is diverse and unique….an eclectic mix of materials, textures and patterns.
“Bree” The upcycled top has been turned from a Men’s sport shirt to a women’s unique fun pickleball theme shirt to wear. Show the sport you love, with this thrift store Men’s Large small print of blues with appliques of pickleball paddles and balls out of a blue and black blend knit shirt parts and a blue/white/lt blue stripe added bottom portion of shirt. Another thrift find shirt scrap added texture and color as a stripe in the sleeve in a light blue and dark blue stripe. There are 2 pockets on front with ribbon made from upcycling cut off surged seam of a shirt. The letter “P” standing for Pickleball is appliqued on the front, there are 2 pickleball handmade appliques one on front one on back and a pickleball handmade applique on the back. Fabrics: the main shirt is unmarked but a very soft possisbly modal cotton? The stripe fabric is polyester, the light blue is a knit blend cotton/poly, and the dark blue/black also a knit/cotton blend. Since all are thrift store items the fabrics have been washed before reconstruction began. This is a NON RETURNABLE ITEM! Please take note of the measurements below. Please measure a favorite outfit (not while on yourself) laid out on a flat surface, and compare the measurements I have provided. Also take into consideration the fabrics…knits/acrylic/poly give a little, cottons do not. If you have any questions about this garment please contact me prior to purchasing. Measurements: Garment is measured when laid on a flat surface and measured across or down on the front side.
Bust: I measured from the front side seam at armpit across front to other armpit on the side seam 24 1/2” front side only
Shoulders: Measured from neck to top of sleeve 6”, also from back shoulder seam across back side only to shoulder seam on other side 18 1/2”
Sleeve: Measured top of sleeve seam down to bottom of cuff 11 1/2”
Length: Measured from back of neck to the hem 30 1/2”” The opening at the hem is 45”
Top has vents “v” on 2 sides of hem
