Upcycled Pickleball Pullover:” Maya”
Welcome to my boutique of Born Again Originals! Each item is a one of kind, not to be seen ever on anyone else, for I create my designs by starting with a discarded, thrift store find, then reconstruct, embellish with appliques, or mixture of other parts of thrift clothing, trims, buttons, whatever to ensure that each creation is different and never the same. Just as you are…a one of kind, so you have found the right place….come and spend a little time perusing through these designs. The work you will find is diverse and unique….an eclectic mix of materials, textures and patterns.
“Maya” This upcycled pullover top has been turned from thrift store find XXL Womens Sport pullover reconstructed into an unique fun pickleball theme to wear. Show the sport you love, with this dark teak striated with black soft feel fabric with appliques in colors black, red, white, and turquoise. Pullover has a mock Tneck, long sleeves and side pockets. Appliques of pickleball paddles and balls with a large “Love heart arrow” on the back, bring texture, color and design to what was a plain shirt. All made with thrift found items. Fabrics:: The main shirt is 93% poly and 7% spandex, appliques in cotton knit, spandex and poly . Since all are thrift store items the fabrics have been washed before reconstruction began. This is a NON RETURNABLE ITEM! Please take note of the measurements below. Please measure a favorite top (not while on yourself) laid out on a flat surface, and compare the measurements I have provided. Also take into consideration the fabrics…knits/acrylic/poly “give” a little, as does spandex.. If you have any questions about this garment please contact me prior to purchasing. Measurements: Garment is measured when laid on a flat surface and measured across or down on the front side only.
Bust: I measured from the front side seam at armpit across front to other armpit on the side seam 26” front side only
Shoulders: 8 1/2” from neck seam to top of sleeve 14” from center back of neck to top of sleeve.
Sleeve: Measured neckband to hem 18 1/2”’”
Length: Measured from back of neck to the hem 23” The opening at the hem is 53 1/4”
