The work you will find as diverse and unique….an eclectic mix of materials, textures and patterns. This handmade 3D Owl fabric pillow was made from a table runner and upholstery store sample fabric swatches.. All the owl feathers , faces and were feet freehand drawn to pattern. Owl bodies are 3D with fabric “feathers” that lift up to uncover under one, a surprise little mouse in the tummy! Han embroidered eyes with French knots and trapunto faces with zipper beaks and eyebrows. The owls make the flap of the pillow that when lifted pillow insert goes inside. (Feather pillow insert included.) Pillow measures 13 1/2” high x 15” wide.
Fabrics: Cotton/poly blend, rayon, burlap type fabric. From a non-smoking home. Each piece is handmade and any little imperfections, I feel is all part of the “hand” in the process. One of a kind won’t find another one like it.
