Has VRMC logo stamped on bottom of dish with thistles and 1988 stamped in clay and has potters initial stamps as well
The pattern Monet honors Giverney’s dining room dressed in delphinium blue and yellow beyond the trellised gardens. From The Story Behind The Patterns Monet was part of the Taylor Series.
Dish is in nice condition, is thicker like most of the earlier pieces were. Some of the yellow glaze of the cross pattern have bled a bit in background, but doesn’t take away from the design, only proves the hand in the painting of the piece
